The Day of the Knights

The Day of the Knights
Written by Thomas Gallego

Once upon a time, there was a giant castle called Eagle castle.  It was in the country called Eagle Country.  It’s called that because there’s lots and lots of white tailed eagles over there.   They are brown and they have a big white tail and they have very very sharp claws.  Lots of them like to hang on the castle because the castle looks like an eagle.
The eagle people have some knights to protect them.  There are two leaders.  The first one is called John the Sword-Fighter.  He wears a bear fur coat, boots with eagle feathers, brown hair, dark brown eyes.  He is regular height.  He has lots of muscles.  He is serious and likes to fight.  The next leader is James the Eagle Fighter.  He has a little bit of feathers on his boots.  He has eagle feathers on his shirt.  His eyes are green.  His hair is white even though he’s young.  He’s tall.  He never gets upset.  He likes to fight.
John the Sword Fighter told all the other knights, “There’s a bad guy called Lion the Knight with a giant lion castle.  And he doesn’t have a very big shiny castle.  So he wants our castle.”  James the eagle fighter said it was a good idea.  So the knights went to England to find some swords and things.  Half the group went to get all of the cannons and swords.  And the rest got the arrows.
But then a part of the army of the Lion Knight came by England.  They were in the middle of the town square.  “Battle!” said John the Sword Fighter.  And all of the bad guys started to fight, fight, fight.  “Look, some of them escaped!” said one of the Eagle knights.
“Good thing,” said James the Eagle Fighter, “because we almost have all of our things to fight.”  After two days, they were walking back home.  The Lion Knights were already in the forest next to the castle getting ready to fight.
Cannons started to shoot.  And arrows and swords started to fight.  Five minutes later, the King of the Lion Knights and John the Sword Fighter were right at the beginning of a cliff.  They were trying to make each other fall down the cliff.  The Lion Knight dropped his sword.  John the Eagle Fighter jumped down and threw him off the cliff.  Soon almost all of the bad guys were almost dead.  But John the Eagle Fighter helped each person and soon they were all dead.  “We are free!” yelled one of the Eagle Knights as they walked back to the Eagle castle.
They celebrated by eating treats.  And they were dancing.  And they decided to go on vacation to England too.
The End
